Mobile Cover for Beginners

This is a very simple crochet cell phone cover pattern.Just add a decorative button or a crochet flower to give it a personal touch....!!!

The stitches used are the basic Single crochet and Chain Stitches. Hence, it is also a perfect project for beginners who want to practice the stitches that they have just started to learn.

Also these would make a great present for your techie friends who would be having all sort of gadgets.

You can make these as simple or as intricate as you’d like. Here, I’ve used only one colour. But you can get creative by adding more colors of yarn.

And what’s more.........you can adjust this pattern to fit any size of your phone or any gadget. You can increase or decrease the number of staring chain stitches according to size of your phone .Also add more or less rows to your cover to fit your phone’s height.

Toddler Shell Stitch Border Cap

I love making simple beanies. Besides the fact that they are so easy and quick to make, they are great for charity and gift projects. This hat is just your standard, double crochet beanie hat.

I’ve added a shell stitch border to the cap. A crochet shell edging, also often referred to as a scallop edging, is a very pretty and easy to follow stitch which can  give  a pretty finishing touch to your project.

Baby Mittens

When you think of mittens, you would normally think of a glove like item that has a spacing for your fingers and a separate space for your thumb. However, these are Thumbless baby mittens that are very easy and fast to crochet. Both the right and left mittens are worked in the same pattern.

These would make a sweet gift for someone who is expecting. You can also make variety of sizes so that the baby can continue to wear them as they grow.

The sizes can be adjusted accordingly with the starting chain stitches. There are no set number of stitch counts involved for making different sizes. You just need to work in continuous rounds making increases in the last two stitches till you reach the size required.

How to make Seamless Crochet Circle

There are, of course, many different ways to crochet a circle. When you make the end of a crochet circle, there is always a bumpy seam and gap which is easily visible. However, there is a easy and simple basic way to make a circle without gaps .This will give you a flat Seamless Circle.
